About Keao
My name is Keao, pronounced: kay-ow. I am an animal communicator.
A natural born seer, I realized I was ‘different’ at the age of nine. I saw, heard and felt energy in a way that others did not. One day hearing my grandmother say to my mother “She has the ESP” - I thought it was a disease and intentionally suppressed my gifts.
After years of my own healing and awareness, I learned, embodied and TRUSTED my gifts of Clairvoyance (seeing), Clairaudience (hearing) & Clairsentience (feeling).
It wasn’t easy but I had daughters of my own who knew I had special gifts and also knew I was hiding them. I realized I never, ever want my daughters to suppress who they are and their own unique gifts - so I finally found the courage to come out of the connection closet!
Soon after acknowledging my gifts, I had clear visions of a grey & white mutt. Through my dreams, he pounced on my chest and put his face directly in mine. I could see every tuft of his fur so clearly. The following night he came to me again, this time with urgency! He showed me details of his purply brown skin on his stomach and there was a critical and clear message: “Come Find Me!” The next morning, we went to the Hawaiian humane society.
There he was!
Toby was the very last dog down the aisle of cages. Our eyes met and I knew that this matted mutt was the dog in my dreams. We found each other!! And just in time… I was told that he was scheduled to be euthanized the following day. Toby has been such an amazing instrument in amplifying my animal communication gifts and helping me to trust what comes through. In fact, if you’ve ever had a reading with me over Zoom, Toby will have been present in the background as my fluffy little light worker. And as of writing this in February 2020, he is still with us as a spritely 16-year-old!
I use my gifts of connecting with an animal’s energy to help their humans better understand their behaviors, dietary needs and past history, which has been particularly healing for rescued animals. I am also a medical intuitive and not only working with the humans and their pets, but also veterinarians around the country communicating the animal’s overall health and wellness. I also connect with animals that have crossed over and am often called in to support animals in transition for healing, peace and support in grief. And yes, I also read human energy.
Using my gifts has led me to many amazing opportunities like reading for celebrities and their pets at Pre-Oscars, Pre-Emmy’s and Pre-Golden Globes events. I have appeared on television, radio and podcast shows including Freeform’s Monica the Medium. I love connecting with all animals and in addition to countless dogs, cats, birds, horses, hamsters and reptiles I also feel so blessed to have connected with gorillas, orangutans, elephants, whales and even the beloved panda bear Xiao Liwu before his move to China from the San Diego zoo!
Most importantly, by using my gifts, I have the honor of witnessing the deeper connections made between the humans and their pets. I also get to validate for you to trust your own intuition…honestly people, you’ve been connecting with your own pets this whole time! My greatest joy is to support you in recognizing the unconditional and eternal love connection that the animals bring through so effortlessly.
These connections invite us to be out in the world and recognize the Sacred in all sentient beings, all nature and all wildlife. They invite us to be a part of that deep love that connects everything in existence, and for that I am truly grateful for these gifts and for the work I get to facilitate in the world.
